We have now concluded our public tours of the Inspiration Home, yet there are two days this weekend that it will be on the Independent Presbyterian Church’s Holiday House Tour on December 10 & 11, 2011. The 2011 Inspiration Home was open to the public for tours Thursdays through Sundays from November 19 through December 4, 2011.

Hours Saturday December 10, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday December 11, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and you will tour six homes and the church. For tickets, call 205-933-1830.

Directions to the 2011 Inspiration Home
The Cove at Overton

From US 280 East, turn left onto Overton Road. Go 2 miles and turn left onto Poe Drive, across the street from the Publix. Poe Drive will dead end into The Cove at Overton. Please note that since The Cove at Overton is a new development, it does not register in a GPS system. Please be sure to write down or print out these directions before driving to the house.
•Signs will direct visitors to a parking area in The Cove at Overton. There will be a walk approximately the length of 6 or 7 houses to get to the house. If the walk is too cumbersome, one member of the party may drop visitors at the front door before parking in the designated parking area.
•Please note that the entry to the home is flat but there is a little walk through gravel to get to the house. Also, the home does have a second level with stairs and a rail.
