Freshening Interiors

Surprising results can be accomplished by merely shifiting existing furniture from room to room — and it’s free! Other ideas are changing pillows, and rearranging bookcases and accessories to give rooms a jolt.

Design Influences

We love the styles of the late greats Billy Baldwin and Mark Hampton, but we are also inspired by the new greats such as Victoria Hagan, Jeffrey Bilhuber, and Michael Smith. In Birmingham, Space One Eleven (www.spaceoneeleven.org) is fresh and invigorating. Lydia Pursell, owner of Leaf & Petal, is very creative. We are always inspired by travel. Shelter magazines, blogs, and nature continue to stimulate our designs.

Birmingham Favorites

We shop extensively in Birmingham finding treasures at Henhouse, Circa, Argent, and Hiltz-Lauber Furnishings among many other great shops. Whole Foods and Target are on our radar as well.

About the Shop

It seems that design is going retail and we are ready to accommodate the trend with our new venture JoJo Home, a unique collection of furnishings and accessories. While furnishings are accessible at many levels to the retail shopper, we continue to believe the complete design service we provide is invaluable. Client preferences, budget, and style drive the design process. Acting as editor and educator, we start with the floorplan and build from there.
