A stroll through a local farmers’ market means a step back in time. Even though some of Birmingham’s markets sit close to the city center, the atmosphere is small town America. With so much fresh goodness, there’s something new to try every week.
It’s peak season for Birmingham Farmers’ Markets. When it comes to locally-grown produce from across the state, Alabama artisans, live music, and homemade foods, the city has plenty to offer.
Just because you live in an urban setting doesn't mean you can't reap the benefits of a harvest. Simply visit one of the city's farmers' markets for the best in locally grown produce and a lesson in sustainability.
